About
Elin Morrow is a photographer working between Lisbon and the north of England.
I grew up on the Northumberland coast and moved to Lisbon in 2016. Most of my work is about people who live by the water and the work they do there, made slowly, over seasons, and almost always on medium-format film.
I take on a handful of commissions a year for magazines, trusts and brands who want pictures that feel observed rather than staged. I like long briefs, early starts and places that are hard to get to.
When I am not shooting I print in a shared darkroom in Marvila and teach a film photography class on Saturday mornings.
